The mission of Hands of Grace is to A.S.S.(U)R.E. that our high level of care goes hand-in-hand with our core values:
AUTONOMY: We strive to encourage and influence Autonomy in your healthcare decision making. You are the parent(s) bringing life into the world therefore, your voices are the most important!
SAFETY: We promise to always prioritize Safety in our care for you and baby! Being in communication and on one accord with your healthcare team is key!
SPIRITUALITY: We believe that pregnancy and childbirth is a gift from God, the creator of life itself. So we create space in this process for Spirituality as we welcome His presence in the newness of life!
U: You! You and your baby are the focal point of all of our services. We work diligently to understand your needs and wants to provide the highest level of care for you!
RESPECT: We aim to build a relationship of trust and mutual Respect with our birthing moms and family. This allows us to navigate this process carefully and intentionally to reach a common goal.
EDUCATION: We aspire to provide you with the necessary Education needed to understand and embrace the changes your body will go through on this journey!
Vision Statement
The vision of Hands of Grace is to assist in lowering the overall maternal mortality rate, with emphasis on the black and brown communities. We plan to achieve that by bridging the gap in communication between birthing mothers and healthcare providers, educating expecting families, and providing every aspect of support during the perinatal process!
