Meet Our Founder
Grace J. Troupe, CD, RNC-OB
Grace has always been passionate about all things pregnancy, labor, and birth. Her interest was sparked as a teenager while babysitting when she realized how much help she could offer families. While obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from the U of I Chicago College of Nursing, Grace became a doula in 2021.
Upon graduating, she kicked off her nursing career in public health working as a family case manager for the Women, Infant, & Children program. Grace later embarked on her labor and delivery journey specializing in obstetrics. Longing to form deeper connections in this role, Grace founded “Hands of Grace Doula Services” in 2023,
Through this organization, Grace is able to provide individual mental, emotional, and spiritual support to her clients. Helping families advocate for themselves and providing education throughout the perinatal journey is also a vital element of the doula services “Hands of Grace” provides.
