Finding out you're pregnant can come with some pretty intense feelings.

Your doula can help you understand what you're feeling and walk with you through each stage of the pregnancy.

Routine visits to:

• Check in emotionally/mentally about expectations
• Discuss prenatal visit updates or concerns
• Review education/resources
• Build health habits

Every birth is as unique as the baby born from it. There is no way to fully predict how the birth will unfold, but your doula has a calm, knowledgeable presence to help you and your partner navigate the experience.

Support Includes:

• Emotional support, physical comfort and communication to ensure that you have the information you need to make informed decisions as they arise in labor.
• Education on labor stages, reassurance and perspective to you and your partner, make suggestions for labor progress, and help with relaxation, massage, positioning and other techniques for comfort.

The postpartum doula offers many services to her clients, but her main goals are to help "mother the mother" and nurture the entire family as they transition into life with a newborn!

Support Includes:

• Education on the post-birth healing process
• Assistance with newborn care, feeding, and bonding
• Child care, organization of nursery items, and light housework as it pertains to the newborn.
• Education on the post-birth healing

I am a firm believer in family support & comfort throughout the perinatal experience! I urge partners and family members to be present and involved to help meet mama's needs. Additionally, I encourage them to ask questions and advocate for themselves and mama's wishes. They are an essential part of this process and my job is to bring them out of the background to make sure they are both seen and heard!

Knowledge is power, especially when it comes to childbirth. That's why I offer childbirth education classes to help prepare you for the big day. From breathing techniques to pain management, my classes cover everything you need to know to have a positive birth experience.
